If you’re a designer, you’ve certainly seen it. And if you’re lucky, you’ve got a copy. FontBook, the most comprehensive catalog of typograpyh in the world. Last published in 1998, and sold out for ages, the new FontBook 4 will b released around the middle of September. If you’re in Germany you can preorder a copy, you can even have it signed by the authors if you order early enough. Unfortunately, in America the last edition is still sold out, and they don’t say anything about the new one anywhere.

Update: Stephen from the excellent Typografica pointed out there is a page for orders outside Europe. Maybe someone should Someone updated the old FontBook page.

    Aha, so ask and ye shall receive only goes so far, hunh? Ah well. I’ll be ordering a copy anyway, but I’m in germany, so maybe I can get a Spiekermann signature. ;)
